Easy Projects .Net has a process whereby activities can require approval from designated persons, throughout the life of the activity. 

Below is an overview of how this works:


  1. First, you setup different statuses for your tasks that will require approval. For example, you need to approve a task first before its status can be changed to "Ready for production".
  2. Then you decide who will have an authority to approve tasks within a project. You can choose a combination of: Task Creator, Project Manager or specific person.
  3. When a task is ready to be moved to the next stage which requires approval, a staff member will change task's status to "Requires approval".
  4. Automated email notification will be sent to the person in charge of the approval person.
  5. He can login, review the tasks and mark-down the "Approved" checkbox.
  6. Once it's done, task status can be changed to "Ready for Production" or "Completed" or any other status that requires approval.
