Q. When I try to verify my connection to POP3 server, I'm getting an error: "Connection to POP3 server was not established: Command "USER ADTasks@domain.com" failed : -ERR Command is not valid in this state.." I'm using MS Exchange 2007.


A. Open your Exchange Shell and enter:

Set-PopSettings -LoginType PlainTextLogin

 Then restart the POP3 service.
