Change Guest User to Regular User without losing data

I have people that I started as guest users who have now added responsibility and I want to make them a full/regular user.  I am being told by support that there is no way to do this.  So now I am forced to abandon all this work and start over from scratch.  It would seem that there would be an easier way to accomplish this migration.

Hi, this is an old topic but I now have the same concern and it looks like we still cannot convert users types. Any plan about that? Thx.

Hi Loïc,
We can now convert guest users to fully licensed users if you need us to. If you send an email to support@easyprojects.net (or click the Intercom icon in the bottom right corner of your Easy Projects screen) and give them the names of the guest users you want to convert and what role they should have when converted then we can get it done.
If the guest user is not assigned many tasks and you want to manually add them yourself you just need to alter the guest users current email address slightly (maybe add a 1 to their name). Then you can create a new licensed user with the proper email address.
