Currently in Custom Forms, you can set a record that has just been created to email the creator of the record or have it set to use the email address from an input box they type in. I'd like the ability to give that user a later update on the record they submitted to tell them about your progress or whatever need be instead of only sending them an email when it was created.
I think the best way would be to include the option: Email Update in the Actions dropdown that displays on the right when you hover over a record. After selected, you'd be able to type in a text box whatever you wanted. This box would be setup to default to send it to the creator of the record, but you'd be able to change it to a different email address if you wanted.
Another nice related feature would be the option to Mark As Completed in that Actions dropdown & put a checkmark by the record in Custom Forms.
