Start and Late notification events. How do they work?

  • The Start event
The Start type notification is triggered when an update to activity's start date is done that changed it to current date.
The following cases are possible:
  1. The start date of an activity is manually changed to current date,
  2. The start date of a dependent activity is automatically changed to current date.
Note. The Start notifications are not sent for both hold and closed activities.
  • The Late event
The Late emails are sent daily for overdue activities, i.e. ones that are still open and have end date in the past.
