Activity batch operations

Activity Center > Activities

 To access batch operations for activities, do the following:

 

1.

Go to Activity Center (Projects & Tasks > Activity Center).

2.

Select the activities to which you want to apply batch operations

3.

Select batch operation:

 

- Manage people (add or remove assignees),

 

- Change dates,

 

- Duplicate, and

 

- Delete.

 

- Change (taskissuerequest status, priority, category).

4.

Select required options for the operation you want to apply.

5.

Click ‘Apply’.

6.

Repeat for other operations as may be required.

 

 

Example:

To remove a user from assignees of two activities at once:

 

- Locate and select the two activities,

 

- Click '-' next to the user on the list of assignees,

 

- Unselect the 'Don't send notifications' box if you want the recipients of email notifications to be notified of this event.

 

- Click "Apply".

 

 

 

 

To remove all assignees from an activity:

 

1.

Repeat steps 1 to 2 above.

2.

Select Manage people.

3.

Click 'Remove all' above the list of available users.

4.

Click 'Apply'.

 

To assign all users to an activity:

 

1.

Repeat steps 1 to 2 above.

2.

Select Manage people.

3.

Click 'Add all' above the list of available users.

4.

Click 'Apply'.

 

Recalculation of allocated hours when assigning/unassigning users

 

By default, Easy Projects recalculates personal estimated hours/hours left of the assignees as new assignments are made. If you do not want this to happen, such as when you need to have the current work loading unchanged, clear the 'Recalculate hours shared among assignees'  checkbox. As a result, no change will be made to the current allocation of working hours. 

  

Only those activities that user’s permissions allow it to edit/delete are available for selection.

 

Only those activities user’s permissions allow it to modify/delete assignees of are available for selection.
