The 'hours left' (HL) value is designed to allow a user to specify how many hours he plans to use to complete a task, as a way to link the progress value expressed in percentage with working hours.

 

By default, when an activity is being added the Hours left field on the Activity details screen is automatically filled with the same number of hours as in the Estimated hours for this activity field.

You can change the value at any time.

 

You can also manually adjust the calculated number of hours left for an activity when making a time entry in Time Logs.

 

To adjust hours left for a task in Time Logs:

 

1.

Go to Time Logs.

2.

Indicate the hours left in the appropriate field (next to Progress).

To adjust HL and activity progress (completion rate) of an activity:

 

1.

Click the activity' name link to open Activity Details screen.

2.

Indicate the hours left in the appropriate field (next to Progress).

 

 

 

Personal hours left

 

You can adjust personal hours left using the Assignees dialog box in Activity Center or on Activity details screen. To do so:

 

1.

In Activity Center or on Activity details screen, click the assignees section for the respective activity (click 'Add assignees' in the Assignees section on Activity details screen.

2.

Click the clockface button ().

3.

Adjust the value in the Hours left column.

4.

Click 'Save'.
