Calendar notification options

You can set Easy Projects Calendar to email a notification message to select users on the occurrence of a Calendar-specific notification event. For example, when an event is assigned to a person, a notification event will be sent to the recipients

Simple adding an event without assignees is NOT a notification event.

Calendar event has been:

A link in the notification letter connects the recipient directly to the Calendar page in Easy Projects.

 

 

 

 

- edited

Any changes, except for in the event assignees.

 

- assigned

Any changes in the event assignees

 

- deleted

Deletion of the event.

 

 

 

 

To select notification events:

 

1.

Go to Calendar, by selecting Calendar on Tools menu.

2.

Click "Notification options".

3.

Under ' Send a notification when', select appropriate checkboxes.

4.

Click 'Apply'.

 

 

Notification recipient choices

 

Creator of the event(s) being changed, assigned, or deleted;

Assignees of the event(s) being changed, assigned, or deleted;

User(s) added to a recipient list (Also notify).

 

To select Calendar notification recipients:

 

1.

Go to Calendar, by selecting Calendar on Tools menu.

2.

Click "Notification options".

3.

Under 'Notify these recipients', select appropriate checkboxes.

4.

Click 'Apply'.

 

To exclude recipients from the recipient list:

 

1.

Do steps 1 and 2 above.

2.

Click the Exclude link next to the recipient you want to to exclude.

3.

Click 'Apply' to confirm the changes.
