Easy Projects has a process whereby activities can require approval from designated persons, throughout the life of the activity.

Below is an overview of how this works:

  1. First, you setup different statuses for your activities that will require approval. For example, you need to approve an activity first before its status can be changed to "Ready for production".
  2. Then you decide who will have an authority to approve activities within a project. You can choose a combination of: Activity Creator, Project Manager or specific person.
  3. When an activity is ready to be moved to the next stage which requires approval, a staff member will change activity's status to "Waiting for approval".
  4. Automated email notification will be sent to the person in charge of the approval process.
  5. He can login, review the activity and mark-down the "Approved" checkbox on the activity details page.
  6. Once it's done, activity status can be changed to "Ready for production" or "Completed" or any other status that requires approval.
