Editing activities

Activity Center > Activities

 

The 'Enable old details pages for projects and activities' option is changed in User Menu | Settings | General | Advanced settings tab.

 

Three editing options are available in Activity Center:

 

in-line editing of activity attributes;

via Activity details section in Activity Center; or

via Activity details screen.

 

 

The details are explained below.

 

In-line editing

 

The row representing activity in Activity Center consists of juxtaposed sections that act as buttons. Thus editing an activity basically consists of locating the icon of the appropriate button and clicking it.

 

To in-line edit an activity:

 

1.

Locate the activity on the list.

2.

Click the element you want to modify, e.g. Budget ().

3.

Make changes. Some changes you make are immediately saved, others require clicking 'Save'.

 

 

Editing activities using Activity details section

 

To enable the activity details section in Activity Center, make sure the 'Enable old details pages for projects and activities' option is disabled.

 

To edit an activity via the activity details section in Activity Center:

 

1.

Click the activity you want to edit.

2.

As the activity details section opens, make required changes. For details, see Activity details.

 

 

 

Editing activities using the old Activity details page  (legacy feature — not supported any longer)

 

To enable the activity details page, make sure the 'Enable old details pages for projects and activities' option is enabled.

 

 

To edit an activity on its Activity Details page:

 

1.

Click the activity to edit.

2.

As the activity details page opens, make required changes. For details, please see Editing activities.

 

 

To rename or view/change description of an activity

 

1.

Hover the pointer over the name of the activity.

2.

If you want to rename the activity, select the pen icon ().

3.

If you want to view/change the description of the activity, select the description icon ().

 

 

 

Activities with a description have the description icon () permanently displayed.
